About

 Among the new breeds of Indian writers, he is a one who writes from the perspective of Indian middle-class. An alumnus of I.I.T. Kanpur and I.I.M. Ahmedabad, he got the opportunity to see life very closely through various phases and places while working with a leading commercial bank. The entire revelation was so compelling that he ‘dropped-out’ to pen these down. He is a freelancer now.

 He has been writing regularly – mostly on topics of general interest – for various newspapers and periodicals. His articles have appeared in the columns of Femina, Times of India, Economic Times, Hindustan Times, Computers Today, Data Quest, IBA Bulletin and in Hindi Dainik Jagran, Punjab Kesari, Sakhi.

 He has more than five full-length bestsellers to his credit –

 ‘Nothing can be as Crazy…’ and
 ‘Nothing can be as Crafty…’ in English published by Rupa;
 ‘Ek Banker Ki Romanchkari Kahani’ and
 ‘Ek Romanchak Kahani Korona Kal Ki’  in Hindi published by Prabhat Prakshan;
 ‘The Untouchables of Lothal’ ,
 ‘Bank Scam Mystery’,

    ‘The Incredibles of Lothal’,
    ‘Romanchak Gatha Aapada Kal ki, Itihas ke Panno se’ (Hindi),
    ‘Pandemic, A Thrilling Tale from History’ and

   ‘Dastan Teri Meri’ (Hindi) as kindle ebook.

 He has also contributed a story to anthology on Kanpur stories ‘Nothing is forgotten’.

 Of late, he has become very passionate about social issues. He has been recently awarded a Certificate of Excellence by Ministry of I&B, GOI for his short video film ‘Just Thinज़रा सोचिए’ on Swachh Bharat. Now he has been honoured with Covid warrior award ‘कोरोना योद्धा सम्मान (Korona Yoddha Samman)’ for exemplary work during Covid times.

 He lives with his wife Sindhu, and divides his time at Mumbai and Kanpur. He has as multifarious and diverse interests as his professional background.
